A Special Workshop of the Board of Trustees of the Tamalpais Union High School District was called to order by Ruth, President, on January 17, 2006 at 3:30pm in the Kreps Conference Center, Levinson Building, at Redwood High School in Larkspur.

Members Present:	Ruth Dell, Jill Sampson, Susan Schmidt, Bob Walter, John Wright
Administrators Present:	Bob Ferguson, Superintendent Arvo Toukonen, Assistant Superintendent, Adm. Services Steve Butler, Assistant Superintendent, Educational Services

Approval of Agenda
     M/S/C (Sampson/Schmidt) unanimously, to approve the agenda as presented.

Study Session
     The Board discussed a future General Obligation Bond and Timelines.

Bonding Financing Analysis Presentations
     Trustees heard a report from District Financial Consultant, 2006 Bond, as presented by Stephen J. Marsh of Tamalpais Advisors, Inc.

     Trustees heard a report from District Bond Counsel, 2006 Bond, as presented by John Hartenstein of Orrick, Harrington, Sutcliffe LLP.

2006 Future General Obligation Bond
     Trustees heard a report on proposed Drake Field project, as presented C.J. Collins of FieldTurf. The Board consensus to consider a field turf project for the baseball field only, not the softball field.

     Trustees heard a report on proposed Swimming Pool options, as presented by Kevin MacQuarrie of WLC Architects.

Bond Calendar
     Trustees reviewed a draft and timelines for the 2006 Bond Calendar.

Trustee Committee Assignments
     Trustees reviewed Committee Assignments.

Report from Closed Session in Superintendent’s Office
     Mrs. Dell reported that Trustees discussed personnel items.

     Trustees met with Labor Negotiator, Superintendent Bob Ferguson, regarding certificated and classified negotiations.

     Trustees discussed negotiations regarding Unrepresented Employees: Management Team.

     Trustees discussed Public Employee Performance Evaluation: Superintendent
