10 Steps to Securing and Using a Facility Within
TUHSD

CONTACT the Facility Coordinator (415-945-1022 or email facilityuse@tamdistrict.org)
to inquire about availability of a particular facility.

DOWNLOAD a Use Application from
our website or
request that a Use Application be mailed or faxed to you.

RETURN your completed application via US mail (address below) or
fax (415-945-3767).

Your application will be processed within 5-7 business days. You
will be contacted by the Facility Coordinator as to the status
of your application.

INVOICE: If your application is approved, an invoice will be generated
and sent to you.

DEPOSIT: To confirm your dates and times, you will be required
to submit a 50% non-refundable deposit. Please make
your payment (checks or money orders only) to “Tamalpais
Union High School District”) and mail to:

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE: Prior to use of any facility you will
need to submit a certificate of comprehensive general liability covering
personal injuries, wrongful death, and claims of property damage,
with a combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.
This certificate of insurance needs to name the Tamalpais Union High
School District as the “certificate holder” or “named
insured”.
The requirements are further outlined on the Use Application.

USE PERMIT: Once your deposit and insurance are received by the
Facility Coordinator, final arrangements will be made and your Use
Permit will be sent to you. You must carry the use permit with
you at all times when using a facility.

CALL HOTLINE: If you are using a natural grass field at Redwood,
Drake or Tam, on the day of your event you must check the Fields
Hotline at 415-945-3607 if there has been any rain within 24-hours
of your scheduled use. If the hotline indicates that the fields are
closed, your event will have to be canceled. Using the fields when
they have been closed by the district will jeopardize future use.

CLEANUP: During your event please take extra precautions to ensure
participants are using the facility safely and in the proper fashion.
To avoid additional custodial charges, please make sure to clean
up any trash generated by your group.
