TUHSD Budget
Like school districts throughout the state, the new state budget with its deep cuts to schools coupled with lower local property values has a negative impact on our district. TUHSD will need to reduce its expenditures by at least 2.7 million dollars in 2010-2011 in order to have a balanced budget.

Assistant Superintendent Positions
The Tamalpais Union High School District is seeking two assistant superintendents; one for Educational Services, and one for Human Resources. The Tam District seeks assistant superintendents who have excellent communication skills and can work collaboratively with a well-educated, highly-involved team of teachers and administrators in meeting the needs of all students.

The Tamalpais Union High School District is dedicated to the development of creative, passionate, and self-motivated learners. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for engaged citizenship and able to contribute individually and collaboratively in order to address the challenges of a dynamic and diverse world. To these ends, all students will demonstrate mastery of core competencies and will be offered meaningful learning experiences to enable them to access and critically analyze information, pose substantive questions, and communicate effectively.
