ASSESSMENT

The district administers a variety of assessments to determine students’ proficiency in the Student Learning Outcomes and specific courses. This section provides descriptions of various assessments by subject, rubrics used for scoring, and examples of quality student work. Click on the links for assessments in each area: WRITING Student Learning Outcome #1: Communicate articulately, effectively and persuasively when speaking and writing. READING Student Learning Outcome #2: Read and analyze material in a variety of disciplines. COMPUTER PROFICIENCY Student Learning Outcome #3: Use technology as a tool to access information, analyze and solve problems, and communicate ideas. MATHEMATICS Student Learning Outcome #5: Apply mathematical knowledge and skills to analyze and solve problems. SCIENCE Student Learning Outcome #6: Demonstrate scientific literacy.
