At the schools:
Full- and part-time counselors and interns, nurses and a
staff member from Bay Area Community Resources present at
each school. Peer Resource, conflict mediation and leadership
programs are in place at each school. In addition to specific
programs, counselors and other staff sponsor small groups
of students concerned about drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gay and
lesbian issues and parent problems. Should one school have
a crisis, the other schools assist in forming an intervention
team.
