Read the Pirate News every Monday

Plan an activities schedule that may include: athletics, drama, music, student government, clubs, a job or community service.  Discuss it with your parents and determine priorities to maintain balance

    SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL GOALS FOR THE MONTH:

Take some time for yourself to hike, share a hot chocolate with friends, or just loll in the hammock & daydream

Join an athletic team, or just come out and cheer on your peers and meet some new friends

    PARENTING TIPS/OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MONTH:

Encourage your student to have at least one conversation with an adult on campus (teacher, counselor, etc.) so that s/he can practice effective communication skills
