• Mathematics Course Information

    The Mathematics Department at Drake offers a variety of courses, including college preparatory and advanced placement, designed to meet each student’s needs and ability. Students must earn a C- or better in the prerequisite course in order to move on in math the following school year.     *Honors Course Option:  Students entering or continuing at Drake are eligible to take the qualifying test for Honors courses if they have earned A’s for each grading period in the prerequisite course. Eligible students will be contacted individually by their math teachers in late February about important information, meetings, and qualifying test dates.  Only eligible students with qualifying grades whose names have been provided by their math teachers will be admitted to the testing sessions.
