August 10, 2021
    Dear Archie Williams Falcon Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! We are very excited to welcome students back on campus, in-person, on Wednesday, August 18th. A special welcome to all of our new students and parents. This year we look forward to working together to continue to grow and flourish as a school community, as we celebrate and embrace our new school name and mascot, The Peregrine Falcon.

This year it is our intention to continue our focus on equity and inclusion, as we actively work towards creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe learning environment for all students. We are also committed to learning more about our namesake Archie Williams, our community hero and beloved teacher, and the many contributions he has made to our school, community and nation.

As interim Principal, I am very excited to join the Archie Williams school community. I am excited to get to know and build relationships with students, parents and staff while also learning more about the school culture. I am also committed to continuing the work around equity, restorative practices, and I will strive to ensure that all students feel welcomed and connected to our school community; and that they find opportunities to thrive academically and social-emotionally as we continue to navigate these challenging times.

While I am new to the Archie Williams community, I am not new to the district. I have worked at Redwood High School as a counselor and Assistant Principal for the past 25 years. I am also a Marin native, and I am excited to bring my passion, enthusiasm and experience to the Archie Williams community.

Below is very important information for the start of school. Please read this message carefully and we look forward to seeing you on the first day! Make sure you see the form that is required to print, sign and return to school.

    • There are no social distancing requirements.
    • Our campus will remain closed at lunch through at least Labor Day (September 6th).

    • Students will be required to complete the Daily Health Screener prior to coming to school. Students who are sick are expected to stay home.
