SAT Reasoning Test or the American College Test (ACT) plus Writing
Applicants need to complete 11 of the 15 “a-g” courses by the end of their junior year, and SAT Subject Exams are optional for the UC system but may be recommended for some majors. Some private colleges will still require or recommend SAT Subject Exams.
