College Match, by Steven R Antonoff, PhD. This book is a blueprint, chock full of activities for students, to assist students in figuring out why they want to go to school and where. Worksheets help students determine what they want to achieve through their educational pursuits, figure out what to look for in colleges, keep track of college information from tours, start essays and prepare for freshman year. There are chapters specifically for parents on paying for college and helping your student navigate the process. This book costs about $12, and is meant to be written in by students, so I recommend that you take a look and perhaps purchase it for your student. Even if your student is not thinking of going directly to college, the chapter on knowing yourself is great food for thought for anyone.
