The Open Session for regular meetings begins at 6:00 p.m.  Workshops may be added as needed throughout the year.

Please note that the board reserves the right to adjust the date and/or time of one or more of its regular meetings in order to accommodate the personal or business schedules of the board members or staff, or to reflect external interests, such as holiday schedules, weather, and school district program needs.

BOARD MEETING NORMS

PUBLIC COMMENTS AT BOARD MEETINGS

The Board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues, and provides time for members of the audience (in person or virtually) to address the Board. Opportunities for public comments are offered on all agenda items under "Trustee Considerations", after board members have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss. Additionally, there is an agenda item titled "Public Comment for Items Not on the Agenda", during which members of the audience are given time to address the Board on any school-related matter not on the agenda. The Board cannot respond or take action to public comments. Speakers are requested to identify themselves prior to addressing the Board and will be heard for up to three (3) minutes. The presiding officer of the Board shall determine, based on time constraints of the Board, whether some time less than three (3) minutes shall be allocated to individual speakers.

If you wish to submit a public comment via email, you may do so at: publiccomment@tamdistrict.org.  To ensure board members have an opportunity to read written public comments prior to the board meeting, please submit written public comments by 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting. Public comments submitted via email will be noted in the minutes of the meeting.

SPECIAL MEETINGS

Special meetings, as needed, will usually be scheduled on Tuesdays.

Agendas are posted electronically prior to each meeting, usually the Friday before a Tuesday meeting. Go to the Gamut Online or Agenda Online website to view agendas and meeting minutes.
