College & Career Center, Room 111
Monday - Friday  7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!
I am available to help with any questions or support students may need in the college search process. We help with applications, essays, standardized testing information and mock test opportunities, as well hosting a job board for opportunities in our community and help with work permits. The College & Career Center is also the place for students to research scholarships, community service, summer & international programs, and gap year options.

Students can find current information on hundreds of colleges, universities and vocational schools in the College & Career Center. They can meet with college admissions representatives during the fall semester. This fall we will be hosting virtual college visits before and after school, and are currently in the process of scheduling. The admissions representatives are available to offer information on their schools and answer any questions you may have about campus life or applications. If you are unable to attend a visit, I'm always happy to provide a representative's contact information, and you can connect directly with the person that may be reading your college application.
The College & Career Center uses Naviance for college and career research and planning, and data includes a historical view of applications, acceptances, denials from Redwood students over the past few years. Each student and parent will have their own separate access to the student's account. Information from your Naviance account is not shared with colleges, and is only to help guide and provide information as you are exploring colleges. It does offer the ability for you to link to each college's official website and learn about college visits and scholarships. For a list of scholarships, go to your Naviance account, click on the College tab and scroll down to scholarship list. A Naviance Overview/Reference Guide can be found here. If you have any questions while using Naviance, please feel free to ask me, and I'll try and help guide you through.
When on campus, students may use the computers in the CCC to access information on careers, colleges, and scholarships, and can work on their college applications. Students may also check out materials on careers and colleges. During the Spring Semester, students can attend the Career Conversations in the College & Career Center during lunch to learn about a variety of careers.
