at the Tamalpais Union High School District
The Department of Student Nutrition Services at Tamalpais Union High School District is committed to providing nutritious food to students to fuel the mind and body as a partner in the educational environment. We are dedicated to quality customer service and positive relationships within the school community.
Due to the challenges brought on by COVID-19 and adhering to required safety protocols, the United States Agriculture Department (USDA) has approved FREE breakfast and lunch school meals to all students. Free breakfast "in person" served before school and lunch time listed on hybrid bell schedule.

In person hybrid lunch includes three lunch entrees choices (pick one): main entree, one vegan/vegetarian option and one gluten free option. A produce bag with fresh salad & fruit. Juice Box, and a choice of milk. Must choose one entree and a produce bag or fruit juice.
Distant Learning Meals:
TUHSD Student Nutrition Services is providing FREE "to-go meals" on Monday for "distant learning" AND students can recieve meals on campus when attending "in person" (i.e. Learning Hubs, support classes, etc.)
To-go meal pick-up time: Mondays at 7:30-8:00am
On Monday May 31, 2021 Memorial Day: Distance learning meal pack distribution will be on Tuesday from 7:30-8:00am
Parents may pick up their student's free meals at the student's enrolled school location. Must provide the enrolled student's first and last name, student ID number, and number of days attending "in person" school during the week.

Tamalpais- In front of BLDG 800, Hungry Hawk Cafe parking lot off of Altamonte Drive
High School 1327- Main parking lot in front of gym- on rainy days call 415-945-3460 for pick up instructions
The health and safety of students and staff are taken very seriously. Only trained food service staff members will be handling food using approved food handling procedures.
To keep students and staff safe during meal service, social distancing of six feet is required. Please follow signs and distance markers to the service table at the meal pick up locations. If arriving in an automobile, stay in car, a staff member will ask students last names for a count of meals, and then put food bag/s in the trunk. For walk up service or if the car does not have a trunk a staff member will place food bag/s on a pick up cart and step away to allow for the pickup of the bags and social distancing.
