Outward Bound Pinnacle Scholarship Program  As one of Outward Bound's Pinnacle Partners, Team provides between two and four scholarships each year to financially disadvantaged students to participate in 14- or 22-day summer Outward Bound expeditions.

    Pacific Leadership Institute
The PLI, an affiliate of the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at San Francisco State University, operates the Fort Miley Ropes Course. PLI staff members train Team students to assist in the operation of the course for other participant groups. While the Fort Miley course hosts a wide variety of participant groups--the gamut runs from adjudicated youth to corporate managers, and includes just about everything in between--its emphasis is on providing opportunities for underserved youth.

    Sierra Club Inner City Outings
It is fair to say that without ICO, Team would not exist. In our early days, when gear and money were in short supply, ICO provided clothing and equipment and volunteer leaders to get our trips out on the trail. Even though we are more self-reliant now, we still occasionally borrow gear from ICO and make use of the Club's vast technical expertise.

California Film Institute  Team collaborated with the CFI in the creation of its 6-film series, A Place in the World. Now in its seventh year, the program attracts schools from San Francisco and the East Bay, as well as Marin, to participate in the screenings and discussions at the Rafael Theater. The films focus on the lives of young people in cultures and circumstances different than the students are likely to be acquainted with.
