Foster Youth Graduation Requirements
Foster youth must complete all TUHSD graduation requirements unless:

Foster youth that have transferred from another school district or between high schools with the district after the completion of the second year of high school may be eligible for an exemption of the TUHSD graduation requirements and permitted to graduate by completing the graduation requirements outlined by the CDE. The district shall determine the foster youth’s year in high school by using either the number of credits the foster youth has earned as of the date of the transfer or the length of the school enrollment, whichever qualifies the foster youth for the exemption.
