12:00 pm - Columbia College Chicago Information Session (590 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102) -  This presentation covers Columbia’s approach to creative arts education, their 100+ majors and programs, collaboration and interdisciplinarity, scholarships and financial aid, on-campus living and life in Chicago, as well as their application and audition/portfolio process. 5:30 pm - Financial Aid Night for seniors, senior parents & parents of any grade level (Student Center) - Come learn about the financial aid/scholarship application process.

7:30-11:30 am (approximate time) - Official PSAT/NMSQT for sophomores & juniors at Drake - students must sign up through Drake’s online store by 3:30 pm on October 14. See Lisa Neumaier if you are on the Free & Reduced Lunch plan as you can receive a fee waiver for this exam. 

 

Mon., Oct. 21

11:30 am-3:45 pm - College/Transfer Day (College of Marin Kentfield Campus on the Plaza) - College reps will attend until 2:00 pm and then there is a special workshop for high school students and parents from 2:15-3:45 pm. The workshop will cover special resources and strategies to manage the stress and expense of college and to maximize the college readiness process. 

 

Tues., Oct. 22

Wed., Oct. 23

11:40 am - Landmark College - This college is exclusively for students who learn differently, including students with a learning disability (such as dyslexia), ADHD, or autism spectrum disorder. Landmark provides a strengths-based model to give students the skills and strategies they need to achieve their goals.
