6:00-9:00pm - Lehigh@NasdaqCenter 3 Year Anniversary Celebration (Lehigh@NasdaqCenter, 505 Howard St., SF, CA 94105) - Connect with current Lehigh students, alumni, faculty, and staff at this reception celebrating the third year of our partnership with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center! We will also be launching a “Global Entrepreneurial Mindset” interactive exhibit at the event, featuring stories of Lehigh students, alumni and faculty who represent this important way of thinking.  RSVP here

11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Southern Oregon University Admissions event (Courtyard San Jose North/Silicon Valley,  111 Holger Way, San Jose, CA 95134) SOU representatives will discuss academic programs, the admissions process, financial aid, campus life and activities, housing, and more! Seniors can apply on the spot and receive a same day admission decision and get the $60 application fee waived. Mon., Jan. 13

7:00-8:15pm - Lehigh: Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and Innovation (Lehigh@NasdaqCenter, 505 Howard St., SF, CA 94105) - This panel will give students the opportunity to hear from faculty in Lehigh's Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation as well as current Lehigh students. This event is open and relevant to students interested in any major as Lehigh encourages and fosters an entrepreneurial way of thinking across all disciplines through special programs, courses, experiential learning, and more.  RSVP here

 

Fri., Jan. 17

5:00 pm - Deadline for juniors to apply for USC’s Bovard Scholars Program - Juniors who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for this summer program at USC: 1)Currently hold a 4.0 GPA or above; 2)Enrolled in Algebra II, Trigonometry or above; 3)Demonstrate financial need. Sat., Jan. 25

8:30 am - 3:30 pm - Stanford Women In Business (SWIB) Young Women’s Leadership Summit (Stanford University Campus) - This year, the Summit will be focused on providing female-identifying high school girls with a broader sense of the business world. Although we are targeting Juniors and Seniors, the event is open to all grades. Students will have the opportunity to hear from inspiring female industry leaders, connect with Stanford students, and interact with other motivated high school students from around the country. The application opened November 15 and closes on December 13 at 11:59 PM PST. Click here to apply.

 

Sat., Feb. 1

9:00 am - 1:00 pm - Practice ACT/Practice SAT at Drake (classrooms TBA) - Juniors can take a full-length practice test on this date if they sign-up with Lisa Neumaier by Friday, January 24. To sign-up, either stop by the College & Career Center or email Lisa indicating which practice test you want to take and provide a student and parent email address. Sophomores enrolled in Advanced Algebra can also sign-up for one of these tests.
